We do not have a specific template or wording that you will need to use; however, please format your slides in widescreen (16:9).  If you have a sound, video or live internet component to your presentation, please advise us – and plan to have the music/video embedded and available as a separate file.

Handouts: Please send your handouts via email by August 16.
We will convert your presentation into PDF handouts (2 slides per page) preserving any copyright marks (or adding a copyright with your name on each page).  Handouts beyond slides are encouraged, especially those that are models, samples, etc.  Handouts will be made available to participants to download a few days prior to the conference through both our website and our mobile event app and will remain available after the conference.

Slides as Handouts: You may send your PowerPoint and we will create the handouts – or – if you prefer to provide as a PDF, please place 2 slides on a page (greyscale color).

Printed Handouts: If you have a 1-page handout/worksheet that you would like to have printed for the attendees ahead of the time, please email the master to info@aznha.org by the above deadline.

If we do not receive your handouts by this date we will assume you do not have any or will be making the copies at your own expense – we will not be making any copies on-site.  We appreciate your assistance in keeping our costs to a minimum and preserving the impact of our event on the environment.

Good to Know

  • Room Layout: The Plenary Session Room will be set in rounds.  There will be a stage with a lectern and a table.  The concurrent sessions will be set in theatre-style (no tables).

  • Weather: The metro Phoenix area can be quite warm in August with average highs of 105F and lows of 80F with very low humidity (20%) except for when there is a monsoon (brief, hard rain) which typically occurs after the sun has set.

Attire: The suggested dress for the Conference Attendees is Business Casual; however, we recommend that Presenters dress according to what is “customary” for the type of presentation they give most often (clothing with a company logo is permitted on-stage).  Please consult with the Conference Director if you have questions.  Please note that in Arizona in the summer it can be quite warm (100+F); however, inside buildings air-conditioning can make it quite cold – we recommend dressing in layers.

Parking: Complimentary Parking is available on-site at the venue.
